Well here’s for the
updates!
D-Minus has a new page up!
OK there's only a couple
of blogs up over
on Blogger (Watchmen and Hulk Press X being the latest two). I moved
there purely because I hate Livejournal's massively complicated
layout and stupid control panel and while reading
Dave Gorman's blog I
figured that one would be as good as any to use.
I've also re-discovered
the sublime Zero Punctuation (go google it) and Yahtzee's
impassioned rants on the games industry have refuelled my urgency to
blog about comics. Myself and a friend are also trying desperately
to find a format that hasn't been done before for a youtube
comic...thing, we don't know yet. Maybe using pixilation, google
that to.
I've pretty much stopped
giving a shit about twitter and though Facebook is like a rash you
can't stop scratching, it's the satisfying type of scratching that
you know will lead to bleeding but you just can't stop.
My issue with twitter is
that while there are insubstantial posts on Facebook, they don't
have to be. You can express an opinion or an idea and so long as it
doesn't involve the murder of children or the drowning of puppies
you're ok. Twitter by it's very nature forces you to effectively
sound byte by typing whatever drivel you happen to be doing at the
time. I love Stephen Fry as much as the next person but I don't care
about him buying a scrabble game that doesn't work.
BUT it's still an outlet
for this monster I suppose.
