OK so I’ve fiddled with the comic side of the site now and added a different way to peruse it, how about I get some comic up on there to?

Done.

Right, what have I been up to creative wise; well I’ve started a novel which I manage to do a bit on just about every day, even if it’s just a line it’s more than I’ve managed in a while.

I’m working on a line drawing that will be coloured via computer and up in the galleries soon, which I also need to have a look at make sure they are all finished.

And I’m working on a Captain Marvel painting. I’ve grown somewhat attached to the character, mainly through Peter David’s old run after finding it in a fifty p bin at a ‘mart. I’ve since discovered a passion for the character in any incarnation, there’s something noble about him, a blue collar hero with superman’s power level, it just makes him very accessible and exciting at the same time. I’m also using a comic page layout with the painting, it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a while so thought this would be a good place to start.

here's the Wikki on Captain Marvel

I’m also still blogging and doing a piece on Rob Liefeld, which has led to another piece that will go up after that.

Despite my recent creative urges coming on and not turning off I’m still having problems. Mainly with the actual art world. It’s just not interesting and still speaks only to itself, which I find bloody irritating and I’m coming up with a way to do something about it.

Also I can’t stop organising. It’s a trait of the comic collecting but it plays havoc with the chaos of the artist.

Ah yes the Northwest Comic Run! A friend and myself are going on a road trip of the Northern comic shops, not really for comics but for the hell of it but it will turn into a media thing for the site when we’ve finished.

Anyway that’s all for now, I’m slowly learning more about building sites, being self taught is so much more satisfying!

See you all soon!
